Wells Art Contemporary
Hi! Here’s a non windy picture of Wells Cathedral in Somerset, a potential new home for your artwork. The Wells Art Contemporary has a £2,000 1st prize, artists can show their work in the gallery around the Cathedral cloisters or as installations within the Cathedral and its grounds. As well as cash prizes there’s a residency in Provence, France, gallery feature opportunities, one-on-one mentoring, and more.
This year’s judges are Matthew Burrows MBE, founder of the Artist Support Pledge, contemporary painter Dale Lewis & artist-printmaker Nana Shiomi.
Entry fee is £15 per work, £12 for students - one free entry for the first 100 students to apply using code: WAC22student on the payment form.
The exhibition will take place in July and August 2022, closing date: 25th April.
