Over 30 years, and various incarnations, The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize has established itself as quite the fan of contemporary drawing practice.
This year’s first prize is £8,000, second prize is £5,000 and a student prize of £2,000. UK and international artists can enter at a fee of £30 for 1 work, £15 for students.
An exhibition will take place at Trinity Buoy Wharf, London this October accompanied by an illustrated publication. View all 2023 winners. (closes 12 June)

Belkis Ayón Manso (1967–1999) was a Cuban artist and lithographer. Her work was based on Afro-Cuban religion, combining the myth of Sikan and the traditions of the Abakuá, a men’s secret society. This video is a nice into to her work though has no sound to save you frantically checking your volume/earphones like me.
