Selling Art Masterclass

Hey! I’ve seen a lot of dicey art promoting methods over the years so it’s refreshing when someone comes along with the art background, gallery experience and social media knowhow to help artists overcome the obstacles to selling their art online.

If you’re around this Thursday (2pm BST, 6th May) you could do a whole lot worse than attend this free live event with Martha May Ronson. I’ve always been impressed with Martha’s down to earth, positive and practical advice for artists on Twitter & especially Instagram so am confident you’ll be in good hands here.

I enjoyed this recent interview with Martha and artist Helen Booth on increasing Helen’s online art sales by 300%. Here’s Helen on working with Martha:

I graduated in 1989 with the assumption that the route to success was to just paint, create work, and the galleries would find you. As soon as I started to take control of my own career, positive things began to happen. I’ve had 6 exhibitions since working with Martha – 2 of which were solo shows. I’ve never worked so hard or been this driven to succeed as an artist.
