London Group Open, RWA Open & Scottish Degree Shows
£10k London show, Ukrainian Art Magazine, Hockney Poster, Linocut for beginners guide...
Hi! This week’s edition begins with an open call for UK based artists working in any medium - The London Group Open features a £10,000 prize fund for its 85th outing and group show at The Copeland Gallery, London.
The last London Open was held in 2019, see the previous winners here. This year’s entry price is £20 for one submission. (closes 5th September)
Next up is a global call for the RWA Annual Open Exhibition, the 170th show at The Royal West of England Academy, Bristol’s first art gallery. The prize fund currently stands at £1,000 though the last edition reached over £6,000 so watch this space.

Scottish Degree Shows

Soлomiya - Ukrainian Art Magazine
An independent, artist-run magazine, created in response to Russia’s war against Ukraine. The second issue features artworks created in Kherson, stories of Ukrainians who had to run from the war twice. Created in Kyiv and designed in Berlin, Soлomiya is a testament to resistance through the means of art. Issue 2 is €18.00.
