€30k figurative art prizes, £20k residency, Tabernacle art prize, VAA Award, art opportunities...
Hola! Now in its 12th edition, Figurativas 2023 is an international biennial figurative art competition from the Barcelona based European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM).
A €20,000 painting prize and €10,000 sculpture prize await the winners with various other cash awards & solo show at MEAM, purchase prize and art scholarships.
A group exhibition of selected works will open this October. Unfortunately there’s not long left to enter and the fee’s on the steep side at €40 (entries close 16th April).

Hospital Rooms Open Call - £2,500 fee & + budget for materials & production costs. Cornwall based artists to create an artwork for mental health wards (11 Apr)
National Transgender Monument - £1,000 fee + all costs, open call for individuals or teams to design a new monument in Sackville Gardens, Manchester. Free. (7 May)
Tabernacle Art Competition - £1,200 1st prize, exhibition at MOMA Machynlleth, Wales, theme: ‘Secret’, £17.50 entry, global (16 Jun)
