Hey! The 26th Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize is open for entries with a £27,000 prize fund for UK and international artists.

A new entry on our Public Domain Images For Artists page, Museo is an open source visual search engine pulling free to use images from The Art Institute of Chicago to the Rijksmuseum. A real gem.

Scottish Portrait Awards - £5,000 1st prize for fine art portrait, £3,000 photography, open to anyone born, living or studying in Scotland, opens 2nd April (31 Jul)

Social Art Award 2021 - €1,000 prize, “New Greening” theme (15th Apr)

HCO Art Prize - £200 + 1 year representation with 0% commission. Solo show on Happenstance & published book of artist’s work. (16th Apr)

Baron Prize - £1,000 prize for art on gender, sex & sexuality (1st Apr)

Fabrica & The Living Coast Residency - Brighton, May/June, £1,200 (12th Apr)

Magenta Foundation - $10,000 ‘Un-Stuck’ photography grants (28th May)

Children’s Art Competitions - 14 open.

Jayne Stokes: Outside-In opens at Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh (6th - 24th April). Work shown: ‘Mull’ & ‘Small Island’, acrylic, collage and found objects in tin cases, £600 each.
