Hi! A brief intermission before the art stuff – I’ll be joining over 35,000 runners in Edinburgh next weekend to run my first marathon. Yes and yikes. I'm fundraising for Alzheimer Scotland – any donations would be wonderful, thank you :)

Can it really be a whole year since the last Contemporary British Painting Prize? Well yes. The artist-led event follows their familiar format with a 1st prize of £2,000 and the brilliant addition of a £400 exhibitor’s fee for each of the 12+ shortlisted artists for exhibitions in Huddersfield & London.

Open to artists based in the British Isles, £20 total entry fee for 5 works - 3 works from each of the shortlisted artists will be shown. Find out more (closes 3rd July).

Paint For Charity

Plein Air Painting at Bowood - £50 prize & Award, with exclusive access to the amazing Bowood House and Gardens with all proceeds going to support isolated and vulnerable older people with Arts Together.
