The 3rd edition of the annual Art For Change Prize from M&C Saatchi & Saatchi Gallery is open for entries from artists based in the UK, Europe, Americas, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Middle East & Africa aged 18 or over and within the first five years of their artistic career. Respond to the theme: ‘Tomorrow’ing: Visions of a better future’.
A £10,000 1st prize awaits the winner and 5 regional winners will each receive £2,000, winners will also show at the Saatchi Gallery, London. Entry is free (closes 17 July)
Royal College of Art graduate Haining Wang won the 2023 Award for her installation ‘Molt’ in response to the theme of ‘Regeneration’.

RSA MacRobert Art Award - £20,000 award for Scottish born or based mid-career painters (“at least 10 years after graduation or after 10 years of substantive practice”) to enable a 12-month period of research & development, free entry. (16 Jul)

I’m so disappointed the Art for Change prize isn’t accepting sculpture & installation this year - everything has to be wall-hanging 😓. Does anybody know why?
